About Super Helper to the Rescue
When your child puts on a glowing red cape, a little robot named Bolt arrives with big news: the city needs a hero! From a kitten in a tree to a lonely rain cloud, your child discovers that the best super power of all is kindness.
It's a personalized children's storybook with 8 fully illustrated story pages plus a cover. Pick the look that matches your child, add their name, and they become the hero of the story.
A peek inside
The story opens like this, with your child's name in place of “your child”:
- One sunny morning, your child found a bright red cape hanging on the back door. your child tied it on — and whoosh! — the cape began to glow.
- Beep-boop! A little round robot rolled out from behind the bushes. "I'm Bolt!" it beeped. "The city needs a hero. Will you help?"
- "I will!" said your child. Up, up, up into the sky they zoomed, Bolt buzzing along beside, over rooftops and sparkling rivers.

Questions parents ask
Do I need to upload a photo?
No. Super Helper to the Rescue is a ready-made story: you choose a skin tone and hair style (12 looks are available) and type your child's name. The illustrations are already drawn, so there's nothing to upload. If you'd rather have a book drawn from a real photo, our custom comic book does that.
How is my child's name used in the story?
Their name is written into the story text and the title on the cover, so every page reads as their own adventure. The story is written without he/she pronouns, so it reads naturally for any child.
Can I see the book before I pay?
Yes. The cover with your child's name and the first pages appear on this page as you choose a look and type a name, before you check out.
What formats can I order?
A printed booklet ($16.99, shipping included, to United States, Canada) or a digital download ($9.99). Tax is added at checkout.
Can I order it as a gift for someone else's child?
Yes. Enter the child's name, and use the shipping address of whoever should receive the book. Nothing in the book refers to you, so it works as a gift from a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or friend.
